About The College Of Healing
All over the world people used to think that Healing could not be taught. Across cultures, the ability to do Healing was thought of as either a gift, as magic, or some kind of supernatural sorcery. As there were no formal certified courses in Healing, over two years (1981-3), in Malvern UK, our founders created developed a way of teaching Healing to others without them having to be adhere to any ‘belief’ system. They set up The College of Healing, specifically to create courses that would ensure the highest standards in the training and practice of Healing, and launched the very first 2 year Diploma course in Healing. This was a breakthrough moment in the history of Healing where it became clear that Healing can be taught, Healing can be learnt, and Healing is a positive, life changing experience that is accessible to and can be practised by everyone.

Our History
The College of Healing has been intimately involved in the national arena for healing training. It was part of the founding and development of the Confederation of Healing Organisations (CHO). It had an advisory role to the House of Lords report on Complementary Medicine in the Year 2000, and has been instrumental in forming, developing and maintaining standards, codes of conduct and self-regulation in the healing profession. The original College of Healing Diploma, developed in 1983, formed the basis for the government’s National Occupational Standards and the Core Curriculum for healing, which all healing organisations have to adhere to for their course to be accredited by UK Healers. Our Practitioner Course has a well-deserved reputation for being amongst the most in-depth courses currently available in the UK.
Looking to the future, the College continues to be committed to pioneering high standards for healing awareness and practice, evolving its training based on the understanding that there are fundamental techniques, laws and principles of energy flow in operation, that can be taught. We help participants by demonstrating how balance and harmony can be grounded by us all in our lives.
Love is the only true and lasting way to overcome negativity and fear... Love is the attunement of your whole being, your physical body, subtle bodies and Higher Self into one glowing being.

Our Philosophy
Our training is based on the understanding that there are fundamental techniques, laws and principles of energy flow and operation, and these influence how harmony and balance can be established. They have roots in roots in primordial human history and are incorporated into many ancient religions, philosophies and teachings.
Whilst there are as many methods of healing as there are healers, an understanding of these principles allows College of Healing trained healers to fully develop their healing potential in their own way. Developing the sensitivity to, and an awareness of, how to create an energetic environment where the natural healing process is supported and enhanced is a route to healing. We call this 'the solution for the highest good of all'.
We teach people HOW to work with healing energy safely, effectively, and with the highest integrity, to achieve the ‘solution for the highest good of all’. It shows us how to be centred, balanced, grounded human beings. The training is based on the guiding principles of the College which encourage a high level of self-awareness, self-responsibility and acceptance, and a celebration of diversity of practice.

Our Training
The College of Healing is a registered Charity whose primary aim is to broaden an individual’s understanding of and ability to practice Healing. Established in 1983 specifically to develop the highest standards in the practice and training of Healing, the College of Healing training has a well-deserved reputation for being amongst the most in-depth courses currently available in the UK.

As the conversation about healing and spirituality moves to new audiences through the mass communication networks of social media, the College is a steady beacon of light and stability, in a sometimes-confusing marketplace for courses. We believe that maintaining a high degree of integrity in healing training is important for the future of Healing internationally and for our collective evolution.
