About The Tutors
Lizzy Gunning
Lizzy Gunning has many talents and wears many “hats”. With pride, she now showcases her love of storytelling, wishing to share the magic of the journey these stories have given her throughout her lifetime.
Lizzy was a primary school teacher for 30 years until a break and dislocation in her foot caused her to change careers.
Drawing on her talents for creating sculptures, stories and pictures, helping to build an art gallery, and training as a healer and counsellor, she has remodelled her life to bring warmth and creativity to others beyond the classroom.
Meg Mcdonald
Meg McDonald grew up surrounded by a rich tapestry of stories, both read and told, and has always felt they were important companions.
Before training as an osteopath and healer, she had a background in theatre — a world where storytelling is central. Through her work in healing, she has found that our inner worlds are also filled with story, symbol and metaphor.
More recently, she has explored myth and storytelling in depth at Professor Martin Shaw’s School of Myth, and looks forward to sharing her passion for this subject.
